I am sitting in seat 16C on this Sky Express A320 Neo aircraft bound for Athens from Yerevan.

It is quite a full plane and I am lucky to get an aisle seat. The seat itself is as basic as they come with only adjustable headrests and slight recline. There is also a bilingual airline magazine.

On this 2 hour 40 min flight, we are served a biscuit and water. That’s it. Luckily I ate in the lounge.

I try to sleep but it is almost impossible. There’s a bit of turbulence and my neck and shoulders are sore (not from the turbulence but from my head leaning to one side each time I nod off for a few minutes).

And it’s a 5am flight.

Flight attendants are friendly though.

At both airports a terminal bus takes us from the gate to the plane and back. It’s a longer than necessary journey.
