Hotel Review: Hilton Garden Inn, Tbilisi Riverfront

This hotel is a brisk 20 min walk away from the main downtown area of the city, giving it a slightly “I wish I booked a hotel closer to the centre”-feeling 😳.

We are warmly greeted at check-in, thanked for being Hhonors Gold members (downgraded from Diamond after 10 years) and given our key to our upgraded room on the 14th of 15 floors.

It’s standard HGI room-type, with the exception of a sofa-bed is later opened and converted into a bed as I’m traveling with a friend.

There is also a fruit basket welcome amenity.

Breakfast on the 3rd floor is included for free as Gold (and Diamond) members, and there is also a gym I use each day.

Staff are warm and helpful, the only issue being our room keys which periodically don’t seem to want to open the room door. Meaning regular trips down to the lobby and apologies.

Overall it is a good stay.
