Flight Review: TK619 – IST – RAK

I am sitting in Business class seat 1F in a 2×2 configuration on this Turkish Airlines Boeing 787-300 Max aircraft from Istanbul bound for Marrakech.

The seat, unlike the previous leg, is not a lie-flat one, even though it is a 5-hour flight. Nor are slippers handed out but I have mine still from my previous flight. We do receive an amenity kit again from Lanvin, and a lower-quality noise-cancelling headset, pillow, and blanket.

There is only one meal on this flight and it is quite tasty. A seafood and Turkish mezze plate entree, and for me, a chicken main, followed by a chocolate eclair for dessert.

The seat does have a generous recline though, and I manage to sleep for a couple of uninterrupted hours.

The attendants on this flight, although friendly, are a bit haphazard 😅 – for example asking would I like lemon and ice with my Diet Coke, and then once received, popping the ice in a minute later, and the lemon another minute after that 😛 when half has already been drunk.

We land on time.
