I am sitting in seat 1A (!!!) on the first leg of my trip to Morocco, on this Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-300 flight bound for Istanbul from Taipei.

Upon boarding, we are offered a beverage – I choose a lemon drink, and a chef in full white attire and hat comes around to take our orders from the extensive menu. I choose the seafood pot and red lentil soup as an entree, followed by Codfish, and a selection of Turkish pastries for dessert.
The cabin layout in Business is the old-style 2-3-2 format, but as I am next to my partner in 1B, it feels very spacious and private. A blanket, pillow, amenity pack by Lanvin, noise-cancelling headphones, and slippers are provided.
When dinner comes about 45 mins into the flight, I am blown away by the presentation, service, and taste. It is an amazing meal, but unfortunately the Codfish is a bit hard. The rest is great though.

When I use the restroom after dinner, I return to find my seat has been converted into a full-flat bed with duvet and mattress. I guess that’s a sign it’s bedtime. I sleep for about 8 hours before waking up to the beginning of breakfast service.
Breakfast starts with fruit, yogurt, baked pastries, and follows with a main – I choose the pancakes with caramelized pineapple and blueberry purée. It’s good.

Overall I am impressed with the incredible service and attentiveness shown by the flight attendants.
We land pretty much on time.
