I am sitting in Emergency Exit seat 41C, on this EVA Air Boeing B787-10 aircraft bound from Tokyo to Taipei. I was lucky to get this seat upon check-in after asking if any EE seats were available- and this one was.

As soon as I sit down I slip on my eye mask and sleep for about 45 mins before the meal service comes around, which is a choice of beef or pork. I have the beef and it is delicious. It comes with an edamame salad, some fruit, and a delicious chocolate eclair from a famous Ginza patisserie.

After lunch I sleep a bit more, and then wake up and watch a bit of the new Captain America. It’s ridiculous but there is nothing better to do.

We land pretty much on time.
