My upgraded flight gives me access to this sprawling lounge at the international terminal.

A warm welcome greets me as I make my way straight to the coffee station where I order a barista-made decaf flat white. I’m not sure what beans they use but it is good. I also grab a slice of banana bread staring at me.

After I pop down my coffee and bag/jacket at a nearby table , I make my way over to the breakfast buffet and take some scrambled eggs, baked beans, and a chicken sausage, as well as a tiny bit of fruit.

I am only here for about 20 minutes before making my way to the boarding gate.

I used to come here all the time when I travelled for work. Nothing much has changed. Same menu, same service.

All good.
