Hotel Review: Seaside Resort, Magong, Penghu Island, Taiwan

This large family bead-and-breakfast is about a 30 minutes ride out of the main drag of Magong, right by Shili Beach.

Our room is spacious, yet sparse, consisting of a king-sized bed, TV, and bathroom. It also has a balcony facing the sea and offering a perfect sunset view.

Breakfast is included, but it is delivered from a nearby breakfast shop – a choice of Taiwanese omelette, pancake, or toast, with sweetened milk tea or coffee.

The overall feel of this place is ‘Greek island’ – due to the whitewashed walls and blue sea in front.

If I was to come to Penghu again, I might try a place closer to the port.
