I am sitting in seat 29 B & C alternatively as I have both to myself on this UNI Air A321 flight bound for Penghu Island from Taipei’s city airport.
The seats are basic yet fine, no AV monitor, but I have downloaded a few episodes of season 7 of Black Mirror on Netflix.
This is a short flight, just under an hour, so there is limited service – just tea/coffee or a soft drink. I have a cranberry juice and also receive a wet tissue.
Although not the fault of the plane, in the last 20 mins of the flight, we are told that there is a ‘foreign object’ on the runway, and we have to divert for at least an hour to Kaohsiung to refuel. It turns out to be a fighter jet with a broken part (see link below).
Finally after a good 2 hours at the airport we finally board our 20 min flight to Penghu.
