I’ve been to Alishan many times but this is the first time I’ve actually stayed in this hotel in the small enclave of about five or six hotels behind the information center.

And this hotel is definitely the best of all of them – wonderful service upon checking in a big spacious room with view of the valley below. And there is even a bathtub in the bathroom – something I haven’t had yet on this trip.

Breakfast is included, but not at the actual property. You have to go to the main Square area to one of the restaurants and hand over your breakfast coupon and then it’s a simple Taiwanese style buffet.

The room is slightly more expensive than some of the others but it’s well worth it as the accomodation here is generally very poor.

So a great room good location coupled with excellent service makes this a fantastic stay. I’ll definitely come back.
