I am sitting in Window seat 26F, on this Virgin Australia Boeing 737-8 aircraft bound for Cairns from Brisbane.

The seat is a simple, tight, narrow audio-visual-free screen one. In its place, Virgin offers free WiFi access to over 400 hours of movies, TV etc., so I whip out my iPad, connect, and watch a movie on the Apollo 11 mission to the moon (starring Scarlett Johansson).

There is no free meal service except for tea, coffee, or water, so I get a tea and have it with some cookies I took from my hotel room.

There is really nothing much to add about this flight. It really is just an upmarket LCC flight.

Good thing is we land on time.
