We arrive at 8pm and there are no flights to our final destination , Cairns, so have pre-booked this motel about a 10 minute drive from Brisbane Airport.
It is super simple / the most basic of basic. 2 beds with the softest mattresses I’ve ever slept on. Coffee/tea and TV.
Internet is weak, hot water for the shower takes a good minute to work, and it’s a $50 return taxi – so perhaps we could have got a better place closer to the airport.
Anyhow it’s just a bed for the night.
