I am sitting in Business class seat 5K, on this EVA air Boeing B777-300ER flight from Paris to Taipei.

Upon being shown to my seat I am offered a drink but choose water. A hot towel service follows, and then confirmation of pre-ordered meals.
Shortly after take-off the meal service begins. It is delicious. A Foie Gras prelude and scallops hors d’oeuvre, mushroom soup, salad, roast duck main, and a selection of desserts.

I want to try and sync with Taiwan time so try to sleep as much as possible and manage to get about 6 out of the 12 hours in the fully-fat bed.
I wake up at around midnight and order a snack of ‘crusty prawn aumoniere with musclun salad’ and a hot chocolate, whilst watching a new movie starring Russel Crowe.
I nod on and off again for a few more hours until breakfast is served: decaf coffee, yogurt, fruit, and crepe Suzette.

A great flight overall and excellent service from the cabin attendants.
