I’m staying at this hotel on a points plus cash redemption rate. This hotel is located about 15 minutes by tram or 10 minutes by taxi from the Krakow old city center, and although it’s a bit far away, the facilities here are excellent.
It forms part of the Doubletree Hotel, and there are shared facilities amongst both. These facilities include a fantastic basement indoor pool, whirlpool hot sauna, wet Turkish Hammam, and gymnasium, which I use each day.
My room is on the fifth floor and it’s a standard queen size room not huge but definitely functional with a small sofa chair, view of the forest outside, and that’s about it.

Besides the Spa facility, the highlight for me is the free breakfast served to all guests. It’s pretty amazing considering it’s included in the price of the room for all guests and includes a number of hot and cold Polish and international dishes – super tasty and served by very friendly staff – in fact, all the staff at the hotel are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions asked.
The Doubletree hotel connected to this one is much more expensive per night so I don’t see the reason as to why you would stay there when the facilities are shared, we get free breakfast here and it’s in exactly the same location; perhaps the room is slightly different – maybe larger with additional items such as bathroom slippers and a robe which I don’t need.
It’s a pretty good stay overall.
