Hotel Review: Hilton Garden Inn Vilnius City Centre

For my stay in Vilnius Lithuania I am staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, Vilius city center. It’s a little far from the old town – about a 1.5 km walk.

Upon checking in, I am upgraded to a deluxe king room which has a view over the street below. My room is about 35 m² and has a TV, shower only bathroom, Nespresso machine without decaffeinated coffee buds, and is situated on the fifth of six floors.

About five minutes after I check into my room, there’s a knock on the door and there are two team members from the front desk that give me a card and welcome certificate and some chocolate and cookies which is a lovely touch.

There is a gym that I use twice and a laundry that I use three times as I am traveling for three weeks with carry-on baggage only and wash my clothes whenever I have the opportunity to do so for free.

Breakfast is complementary for diamond members and it’s quite a good spread with some local and international favorites.

One of the great things about this hotel is the service. All of the staff are super friendly, especially the elderly lady (?) working in the restaurant who goes out of her way to make each customer feel special.

If I came to Vilnius again, I would probably stay here although as I said earlier, it’s a bit far from the old town.
