Today I’m flying Air Baltic and at Riga Airport, there are 2 Priority Pass lounges – one is a sleeping pod lounge, and the other has food and drinks. I choose the latter as my flight leaves in an hour and there is no time for a nap.

The lounge is long and spacious, airy, modern, bright, and….pretty much empty. I get a window seat and then check out the food buffet. Unfortunately I’m not hungry, so miss out on the salads, meatballs, and beetroot borch soup, but instead try a couple of Latvian cookies and a Diet Coke.

Nothing much else to report except it’s great having a seat to sit on in a quiet environment before I board the plane.

Oh, and this and the other lounge are both free with my Amex Platinum complimentary unlimited Priority Pass membership 🙌
