I am sitting in ‘Bonus Plus’ seat 4A, a ‘business class’ seat, on this Scandinavian Airways Airbus A320 flight from Amsterdam to Stockholm.

As with most intra-Europe flights business class is essentially economy with the middle seat blocked and a tiny bit of extra legroom. There is no AV monitor nor entertainment. There is a USB plug though and I use it to charge my phone.

I am one of the first to board and upon entering the aircraft the flight attendants don’t check the boarding pass nor direct you to your seat.

Business class passengers on this short 2-hour flight are given a delicious lunch box – smoked salmon, dips and crackers, any drink from the menu (I choose a smoothie), and chocolates.

The service is swift but friendly from the somewhat older flight attendants.

During the flight I watch a couple of episodes on my iPad from the latest season of ‘Emily in Paris.’.

We land on time.
