I am sitting in Emergency Exit seat 41A, on this EVA Airways Boeing 787-10 flight bound for Taipei from Tokyo Narita. I had asked at check-in (in the Priority Lane thanks to my Platinum Amex card) and was offered either aisle or window). I chose window ☝️.

Shortly after take-off, lunch and a drink service is offered and it is absolutely delicious!!! The choice is a chicken katsudon or a Japanese Hambuger set, and I choose the latter. The meat is tender; the bread roll warm and soft, the chicken salad flavorsome, the fruit salad sweet and fresh, and the black sesame pudding is creamy. I am so impressed.

I don’t use the entertainment system but watch an episode of my drama I downloaded into my iPad but within minutes I fall asleep only to be woken up by the Captain telling us we are about to land.
