My Platinum Amex card gives me access to this lounge in the basement next to the Emirates Lounge at the International terminal.

Once inside, I make a beeline for the coffee and the friendly Barista asks if it is my first time in the lounge and goes on to share the ins and outs.

Once my decaf flat white is ready, I grab a yogurt parfait from the buffet and find a spot to sit and connect to the strong WiFi so I can download a few episodes of an Aussie comedy onto my iPad to watch on the plane in case there is nothing interesting to watch onboard.

I am only here for about 30 mins before deciding I need to rack up at least 7500 steps before I board in a couple of hours.

So off I go 🙌
