Hotel Review: Super Hotel Osaka, Japan

I have booked this hotel on Agoda as it offers the cheapest price out of all the platforms. This Japanese-Style Business hot spring (Onsen) hotel is well located to all the tourist areas in Osaka and offers amazing Japanese hospitality. Let’s take a look:

Check-in is automatic and my first impression when I enter the lobby is ‘wow’ – it is wooden, and Cedar ‘Hinoki’ is the theme of the hotel and the distinct smell of the tree emits throughout. I am later told it is the signature smell of the hotel.

Our room is on the top floor (of 15) and for a business hotel, it is very spacious, with 2 double beds, an en-suite bathroom, windows that open 🙌, TV, fridge, slippers, pajamas, and aroma ‘room and clothes’ spray.

Very spacious room

A free 2-hour happy hour is included each night from 5pm to 7pm and includes a large variety of drinks both alcoholic and non. Breakfast is also included in our room rate and is absolutely amazing for the type of hotel this is. A huge assortment of local and international dishes that are changed each of our 3 night stay.

Excellent Breakfast

The best part and the reason for choosing this hotel is the hot spring – free for guests, located on the basement level. It has a variety of hot and cold onsen baths, a very hot sauna, and relaxation area. It is a welcome respite after a day of sightseeing and shopping (and eating).

For around JPN 15000 per night, this is an absolute bargain and I highly recommend it for your next stay in Osaka.

It even has an automatic baggage storage tower ☝️☝️☝️
