My partner decided on the day to book a Staycation and found this hotel on Agoda.

Just a short 45 min drive from our place, this hotel is right on the beach near the Keelung area of Northern Taiwan. It’s a pretty spot with a gorgeous view of the ocean and beyond.

Our room is on the 8th (top) floor with two balconies and an unobstructed ocean view, a separate living area and bedroom with twin double beds, and a large bathroom without a bath.

We decide to have the TWD1099 set menu for 2 and it is delicious – a Chinese menu including lamb chops cooked in Northern Chinese-style – delicious. The included breakfast is also a vast spread and delicious.

The hotel boasts a Hot Spring area which guests are able to use for free throughout their stay. It is quite large with about 5 or 6 stone baths of varied sizes and heat.

The price for two including room, breakfast, dinner, and hot spring entry was just under TWD4000 (about AUD200).

I would definitely come here again for a stay – it would have been perfect if the skies were blue and the sun was shining.
