I was recommended this hotel by a friend and decide to book it on their website as it has the best price and inclusions.

Checking in at reception is drama central with an Indian couple next to me trying to get out of their 10000 peso fine for smoking in their room – the staff are very professional yet adamant and will not budge. As for me on the other hand, I am offered an upgrade to the 20th floor.

The room is quite large with one of the most comfortable king beds I have ever slept in – magical. Only thing is the walls are a bit thin and I can hear a lot of noises during the night.

The hotel has a gym, pool, and Manila’s first and possibly only Japanese- style onsen which I use each day.

Other than that the location is good – very central, and the service is Philippine-excellent at each touch point within the hotel.

All in all a good stay.
