Flight Review: SQ236 – BNE – SIN

I am sitting in seat 20K in the second business class cabin on this Singapore Airlines A350-900 aircraft bound for Singapore from Brisbane.

Upon boarding a flight attendant comes around and hands out a hot towel and takes drink orders. Shortly after takeoff my ‘Midsummer Breeze’ mocktail and warm chshews and almonds are served. My pre-ordered meal selection is confirmed, and I plough through the 100s of entertainment options on Krisworld.

About 2 hours into the flight an early dinner is served – my char-grilled black Angus steak with truffled mac N cheese is quite good. This comes with garlic bread and a smoked salmon entree. Dessert is a choice of chocolate tarte or Rocky Road ice cream and I have both.

After dinner I sleep for a couple of hours in the fully-flat bed before waking up to the sound of a snack being served – Dim Sum and fried rice. It’s OK.

Overall the flight is good but I arrive in Singapore due to the 2-hour time difference. It’s my bedtime.
