Flight Review: SQ877 – TPE – SIN

I am sitting in emergency exit seat 58C, on this Singapore Airlines Boeing 787-10 aircraft bound for Singapore from Taipei. Although this isn’t my original seat, I asked if it was available during check-in and this one, and the seat next to me, was allocated for myself and my partner 🙌

Shortly after take-off a hot towel service, mixed nuts and a drink is offered, followed shortly after by a late lunch, which consists of a sweet and spicy chicken with rice, seafood salad, bread roll, and a Haagan Daaz ice cream for dessert.

The cabin is freezing throughout the whole flight, but the thick blanket on our seat helps a bit.

I spend a couple of hours watching some forgettable stuff on the large AV monitor and then try to sleep, whilst dreading my next overnight flight in Economy to Sydney after a long 6-hour transit at Changi airport.

The service on this flight is exceptionally good.
