I am sitting in Economy aisle seat 8B, on this 9-hour China Airlines Airbus A330-300 flight bound for Taipei from Sydney. This is an old fit-out – there are no power outlets, and the TV is tiny, not much bigger than my iPhone. And it needs to be at an angle to avoid the glare from the cabin lights.

I still manage to watch 3 movies on this flight – and all have a Korean-theme to some extent.

We are served two meals – the first is dinner, and I have a tasty beef dish with noodles in the shape of rice, with broccoli and carrots. This comes with a bread roll and fruit. A few hours before landing we are served breakfast! Strange as it is 7pm Sydney time or 10pm Taipei time, so not sure why sausages and scrambled eggs are on the menu 🤔. I go for the chicken noodles which is tasty, and comes with banana yogurt and the same fruit cup served during dinner.s

I don’t really get to sleep much on this flight as it is a day flight, but nod off now and again.
