I am sitting in window seat 16A on this China Airlines Airbus A330-300 flight bound for Denpasar, Bali from Taipei. It is pretty basic. The AV screen doesn’t work at first and I need to get it rebooted 3 times 🥹. Also the seat has some troubles staying back in a recline position.

Shortly after take-off we are offered a selection of drinks and a packet of snacks. I have a ginger ale.

For the next hour or so there is no service until lunch comes well into the flight. I have preordered a Kosher meal and it is OK – salmon and vegetables on a rice pilaf, with a mousse and stewed apple for dessert. The main cabin meals come with ice cream and I get one of those as well.

For the rest of the flight I alternate between watching 2 movies and sleeping.

We land on time.
