I am sitting in seat 46D – middle aisle of the second row of economy on this EVA air Boeing 777-300ER flight from Bangkok to Taipei. I am lucky as the 2 seats next to me of the 4 seats in my row are empty – so I can spread out and be a bit more comfortable.

Although the flight takes off 30 minutes late, we manage to make some time on the route and land not too far behind schedule.
It’s freezing on boarding and I ask the flight attendant for a blanket. Other passengers see this and start asking the flight attendants for a blanket as well. It would be so much easier for them if they just have blankets on the seats I think 🤔.
I have pre-ordered a Kosher meal again for this return flight home. It’s not nearly as good as the one going over. The rice is dry and the bun a bit hard. The chocolate cake dry and the chicken looks frozen (it’s not but…..). I ask for a ginger-ale and then later a Decaf coffee. As far as I know, EVA air is one of the only airlines offering Decaf to Economy passengers. I note they also have it in the lounge. In Taiwan though, it’s a battle to find decaf outside of Starbucks (which I dislike).

I finish watching The Flash which I stated on the flight over. It’s pretty good. Quite funny. Then I start Asteroid City but a wave of tiredness falls over me and I sleep for an hour or so.

I am woken up by the captain announcing our decent into Taipei.
I’ll be back on another flight in 24 hours – Scoot to Athens, Greece, via Singapore 🥹.
