My original China Airlines flight was cancelled, so I have been re-popped onto this Eva Air flight.

I am sitting in seat 24G on this Airbus A330-300 Eva Airways flight from HKG to TPE, on what must be one of the emptiest flights I have been on in a very long time. My original seat number is 56G but there are so many empty rows I take the first available at the front. The flight attendants don’t blink an eye 😂. The AV screen is quite small but it’s not a massive issue as it’s only a little over an hour to Taipei.

About 20 mins into the flight, a meal service is served – it’s is really good – a cold soba salad with Japanese sesame dressing. Delicious and hits the spot.

For the remainder of the flight I finish the new Transformers movie I started watching on a previous flight. Its ok.

We arrive late and I miss the last train so have to get a taxi home.
