I am sitting in middle section aisle seat 48G in a 3-3-3 configuration on this Singapore Airlines Boeing B787-10 aircraft bound for Singapore from Taipei. It a very full flight and there are no empty seats around me. I have redeemed 13500 Avianca Lifemiles for this leg – a bargain.

About 30 minutes after take off the meal service begins and I receive my pre-ordered Kosher meal. It is pretty good – a huge piece of salmon with green beans and carrots on a rice pilaf, with a lentil, chickpea and salmon fish cake salad, a soft twist bread roll, and a delicious chocolate mousse cake for dessert. As a bonus I also get the Hagar Daaz ice cream that comes around for the standard meals.

I watch one movie, a new release with Russel Crowe called “The Pope’s Exorcist” – Brilliant, and try to connect to the internet but for some reason the system doesn’t recognize my Krisflyer number so I give up.

The flight is delayed by about 30 minutes and other than the annoyance of no internet, no complaints.
