Flight Review: BR 160 – TPE-ICN

I am sitting in seat 22D, a middle sanction aisle seat on this EVA air Boeing 787 aircraft bound for Seoul, Korea. I have used 26K Avianca miles to purchase the return flight – a pretty good deal ☝️

This seems to be a newer cabin, the seats are modern and fresh, a large AV screen, and enough storage space for your bits and pieces.

After about 30 mins the meal service begins; I have ordered a Moslem meal as there were no Kosher meals available for this flight (I am not Kosher but they are generally huge meals and delicious). This is my first time to have a Moslem meal on a plane, and it is not bad. My chicken ragout in tomato sauce with mustard cabbage and prawn salad is tasty, and as I don’t drink alcohol, I have it with a Calpis water. After the meal I ask for a decaffeinated coffee which they have on board.

The movie selection isn’t huge, but I stay to watch about 30 minutes into a Japanese movie about public baths. It’s a comedy and I’m not really in the mood so wrap it up shortly before landing.

Service on this short 2-hour flight is swift and attentive. There are really no negatives to report 🙌.
