Lounge Review: EVA Air STAR Lounge, TPE

Although I am flying Economy today on my flight to Seoul, I am able to access this lounge with my Gold EVA Air Amex card for TWD300 (about AUD 13).

It is surprisingly empty today – possibly because it is a weekday afternoon, but it could be due to the typhoon.

Normally the lounge is below par – food, service, ambiance etc., but I thought I’d give it a go for lunch. And it’s not too bad. As the pictures show there is a good selection of food available. I don’t drink alcohol so grab a can of Ginger Ale instead.

The winner is the double boiled rib soup with radish – very rich and flavorful. The ice cream and petite cakes are a nice end.

As usual I ate too much 🤪

I’m here for about an hour and a half before I make my way to the boarding gate.
