On this return leg to Bangkok from Shenzhen, we are delayed about 1 hour which is annoying as the lounge and airport are one of the most uninspiring out there.

Nonetheless once onboard I am again upgraded to Premium Economy which this time means an aisle seat in the second row behind the 4 Business Class seats, row 32 seat H. The same Airbus A321 but the configuration and seats are different.

There is no AV screen so I watch an episode from the second season of the Korean drama I’m watching on my iPad.

The meal service comes around shortly after a bumpy take off and it is again delicious. I choose Seafood noodles which comes with a croissant, strawberry jam, yogurt, and two glasses of small wine.

Even though we took off after the scheduled departure time, the excellent service on board by the friendly flight attendants who went out of their way to engage in conversation made the trip enjoyable.
