My partner has used 47,500 SQ miles to purchase a one-way Business class ticket on this Airbus A380-300 aircraft. I am thoroughly excited knowing I will be able to sleep for most of the flight on the ‘biggest business class seats’ in the air.

Boarding is very quick on this massive airline thanks to crowd control procedures by the staff at Sydney International airport. My seat is on the Upper Deck which consists of a mix of Business and Premium Economy seats, in a 1-2-1 configuration.

After the initial hot wet towel service, post-drink order taking (I go for a ‘White Russian’), and newspaper/magazine delivery, we take off – very quietly.
