Boarding is a breeze and I am greeted warmly by the attendant who ushers me to my seat, 15F, on this Boeing 777-200 ER, in a 1-2-1 configuration.  
Hot towel, welcome drink, and an order of post take-off drink – ‘Sunrise Breezer’ – a refreshing blend of sake and bitter lemon, seamlessly is ordered, and I settle into the new ‘Amy’ documentary.

  
Lunch service comes at a snails pace, starting with chicken and mutton sate, Mediterranean platter, Laal Maas (A Rajasthani lamb dish), and then desserts – coconut and macadamia nut ice cream, fine pralines, and a coffee.

   
   
I am so full and slightly inebriated that I take advantage of the full-flat seat and sleep for a good 2 hours before the announcement that we are soon to land.
